I got a feeling...

That tonight's gonna be a good night,,,, hmm more like: that yesterday was a good day.

So Yesterday was finally the charity barbecue near the Revolucion stadium. I got there at 11 am and quickly was asked to help around by lifting boxes, setting chairs, do all kinds of handful things. I had been selling tickets for this even for the past two week and i managed to sell 30 tickets, total.
We prepared around a thousand orders in 2 hours. I helped by carrying the trays fully loaded with chicken breast, legs, wings, you name it, to the area where people were packing up and serving the other ingredients. At 1 pm all i had to do was hand out the orders and receive tickets. After that I had a little chat with the person in charge of the garage sale to see if there was any open day for me to go and help by any way i can. She said I should go to the lieu first and be "trained" in order for me to be there by myself on sunday mornings. I left the place around 5 pm and when i left there were very few orders that had not been picked up. When I arrived home i was completely exhausted. I was really happy and excited about the event, but all i really wanted to do was have some sleep.
